How PinSaver works.
Downloading any public Pinterest video is a three-step process that takes under a minute. Here is exactly what happens behind the scenes — and how to get the best result on every device.
Copy the Pinterest video link.
Open the pin you want to save in the Pinterest app or website. The most reliable way to copy a single-pin link is to use the Share button inside the pin:
- iPhone / Android app: tap the share (arrow) icon on the pin, then tap Copy Link. This gives you a short
pin.it/...link. - Desktop browser: open the pin and copy the full URL from your address bar — it looks like
pinterest.com/pin/1234567890/. - Your own pins: if you are downloading a pin you created, the same share menu works.
Tip: use the Share → Copy Link method instead of copying from the address bar of a long feed page. It always points exactly to the pin, which gives the downloader the cleanest result.
Paste the link and press Download.
Return to PinSaver and paste the link into the box at the top of the page. Tap Download (or press Enter). Then our server quietly:
- takes the link you pasted and follows it to the exact public pin page,
- checks the page for every video file Pinterest exposes for that pin,
- labels each file by quality so you know what you are getting,
- and returns the result to your browser in a second or two.
We do all of this on our side so you never deal with cookies, logins, or messy HTML — and the download links come back clean and ready to save.
Choose your quality and save the MP4.
When the result appears you'll see the pin's title, a thumbnail preview, and one or more download buttons — one for every real video version Pinterest serves, usually 1080p, 720p, and 480p.
- Pick the quality that fits your needs — 1080p if you want full detail and have enough storage.
- 720p is the best balance of quality and file size for most devices.
- Choose 480p if you want the smallest file for quick sharing or slow connections.
Tap the button and the file downloads to your normal save location: the Files app on iPhone, the Downloads folder on Android and desktop, or wherever your browser is set to save downloads.
Try it now — it's freeDevice-by-device notes.
iPhone & iPad
Use Safari or any browser. The MP4 lands in the Files app — tap Share to Save Video if you want it in your Photos library.
Android
Works in Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet and more. Videos save to your Downloads folder and appear in the Gallery.
Windows & Mac
Works in any desktop browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox. Files go to your standard Downloads folder.
Honest limits.
PinSaver is a free service for saving public Pinterest videos for personal use. It cannot open private boards, secret pins, or content that has been removed — because no downloader should bypass access restrictions. If a pin is a photo rather than a video, no download button will appear, and that's correct.
Everything else just works. Paste a link, pick a quality, save the MP4 — and enjoy your own offline Pinterest library.
Less than a minute, start to finish.
Paste any public Pinterest video link and download it in HD — free, fast, and watermark-free.
